Getting To Grizzly Fest

First off – There is ABSOLUTELY NO PARKING allowed in the surrounding residential neighborhoods.

While driving and parking can be a real pain in the neck for events like this it looks like the organizers have done an amazing job at getting transportation to and from the event for everyone in town!

Parking In The Park

The Fresno Bee posted a map and mentioned there are 2,000 parking spots available in the park (if you want to chance it). All the red boxes in the map below are spots that you can look for.

Park Near The Standard // Golf Cart Rides

Here’s an insider tip…park near The Standard or East of it (Fort Blossom Cafe parking spots are not available) and the parking is FREE. And the best part is we have contracted out 4 Golf Carts to take you from the corner of Friant & Fort Washington or from our place (if you want to indulge in our Grizzly Hour). These carts will take you to the amphitheater where you can make a quick walk to the entrance of the festival.

Fresno Area Express will be offering their discounted and extended times again this year. Peep the map for details:

OVERNIGHT-ER

While most of us attending the festival are born and bred Fresnans sometimes we want a stay-cation. Or if you’re coming in from out of the area there are lodging options close to the event.

Holiday Inn Express (Riverpark) – Looks like it’s about $189 festival weekend.

Motel 6 – $88 festival weekend but I’d expect that to be gone soon.

Town Place Suites – $202 but its an extended stay kinda place

Best Budget Inn – $114 and looks like a pretty good option!

Comfort Suites Fresno Riverpark – Not a bad option either at $151

Happy Hour @ The Standard

Now that you have all your details ironed out and you’re ready to hit the Grizzly Fest, let’s talk about the pre-game!

Will will open both Friday and Saturday at 12pm and we’ll be open until 2am both days.

Saturday the 4th we’ll be serving up $3 805 pints for our 805 Beer Pre-Party a.k.a. Grizzly Hour.

Join us before the event on Cinco De May for the Patron Happy Hour from 2pm – 6pm with $5 Margaritas.

Or head over when you’re done for the 805 After Party from 10pm – 2am both nights.

Remember there will be Golf Carts (paid) that will take you to and from the event should you happen to join us.

P.S. We’ll have live music both nights along with some of the performers hanging out so we added 3,000 square feet of outdoor space to accommodate the sell-out crowd that we are expecting.
