How To Make A Pomegranate Martini

Sip it, Feel it, Share it (That’s a Mon a Vie knock-off). I like to whisper “Share it” just to make that saying extra cheesy, I suggest you say it that way too. Now, before you go running off, I’m not going to try and sell you any MLM product or idea, but my brother might. I kid.

What I would like to do is show you how to take a super fruit and water it down with some good, old fashioned, Vodka. I call it the PomTini, Im kinda fem like that though. You can call it the Pomegranate Martini if you’d like. You know what? Make a name up for it in the comments and I’ll give you a “shout out” on our Facebook page.

Grab your junk (bar supplies…you sicko) and watch the video.

The Hardware:

We suggest using a Boston Shaker for this Martini, which is a tin shaker with a top.
A Metal Strainer, to control your pour. Make sure you get the right one.
Optional: Salt and Sugar Caddy with Lime Juice. (You can use a lime wedge to coat the rim, and a plate with sugar on it if you don’t want to invest in a caddy.)

Our Suggestions:

Three Olives Pomegranate for the vodka. “It has a exquisite blend of vodka and succulent pomegranates!” Their words not ours.

For the pomegranate juice grab some POM Wonderful. POM is the only brand that can guarantee 100% authentic pomegranate juice because they are the only brand to grow, juice and bottle their own fruit. There are no middlemen and we like that. Get those guys outta here! Plus they have great recipes on their blog if you’re into that kinda thing.

For the Sweet and Sour Mix you can either buy some from the store or make your own. We’re lazy, so we just buy it. But, go on with your bad self if you want to and make it. It’s your world squirrel.

So to all the people (my wife) telling me to eat more fruit, take your foot and insert it into your mouth cause I am about to detox while toxicating with this martini.

Cheers!
